“Learn to cook RIBS and CHICKEN WINGS on several different types/styles of smokers. The class is taught by award-winning competition Pit- Masters but geared toward Backyard Cooks that want to step up their game. Learn about the proper use of BBQ equipment, and how to leverage rubs, brines, and sauces to get the best from your barbecue. The class includes a delicious barbecue meal for lunch. See it, learn it, and eat it. After lunch, you will put what you learned to work and prep for the cook on Day 2.”

Day 2: “Things get real when you put your new-found skills to the test with a ribs and chicken cooking competition. The contest follows the NEBS tailgate format with blind judging by certified BBQ Judges to evaluate your new skills. Cookers, general cooking equipment, meats, rubs, and sauces are provided. If you wish to improve your skills on your own cooker, you may bring your own. You will be paired with an experienced mentor/coach, you will compete to impress the judges and earn bragging rights as the NEBS 2025 Class ‘N Cook Champions!”
