Smithfield Firefighters Local 2050 and Smithfield Police FOP are hosting a real-deal BBQ competition, Smithfield Smoketember Fest—2024. Join them on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, from 12 PM to 5 PM. The competition will be judged by a professional panel in three meat categories: Chicken Thigh, Pork Shoulder, and Beef Brisket. There is also another category of public choice, to be judged by our patrons. This is a team choice and will be unveiled on the day of the event.

Come on by to support your local Fire, Police, or Laborers/Operators Union and enjoy some excellent BBQ and entertainment.

Music, raffles, food, swag and a cash bar, admission includes all your food and access to entertainment including some of your favorite outdoor games. Raffles tickets and beverages are sold separately. We will have a meat raffle and a high-end pellet smoker. This is a kid’s friendly event, so bring the whole family, kids under 10 free

Event Tickets are $25, and raffle prize tickets are $20. They can be bought online at Eventbrite.com using the keyword Smoketemberfest or at the door. The door price is $25.
