After Rinaldi’s closed in 2022, Fletcher’s moved in, becoming the newest Longmeadow institution. More than just a change of address, this move was a massive renovation that took almost two years to complete, giving the eatery a new look that embodies Fletcher’s innovative vision of modern cuisine. A cozy atmosphere that mixes rustic allure with contemporary elegance now permeates the restaurant, making it perfect for formal meals, casual gatherings, or special events.

Meet Bill Fletcher
Bill Fletcher, our main guy and Pitmaster, along with his seasoned team, can’t wait to show the folks in western Massachusetts a slice of our barbecue world at Fletcher’s BBQ Shop & Steakhouse. We’re talking classic wood fire vibes with a fresh twist.
Before setting up shop in Longmeadow, Fletcher’s was the go-to spot in Brooklyn for 10 years, serving up smoked barbecue goodness to the NYC crowd. Bill shares that a quirky twist of fate, aka Tinder, brought him from the bustling streets of Brooklyn to the charm of western Massachusetts Yep, he swiped right, met his future wife from Longmeadow, and the rest is history.
At Fletcher’s, it’s all about that authentic pit-barbecue tradition, firing up full logs of maple and red oak all year round. Bill’s stoked to say they’re cooking up the “best briskets ever.” With Executive Chef, Joseph Raymond, on board, bringing his high-end dining skills, they’re shaking things up with some killer dishes. Think BBQ ramen, steaks that are cold-smoked then seared to perfection, spicy shrimp hushpuppies, brisket fries, and a brisket cheesesteak that’ll knock your socks off. Bill sums it up best: “Joining forces in the kitchen has been a blast. Picture this: overalls and an axe meets a chef coat and spot-on execution.”

As part of its commitment to diversity, Fletcher’s serves traditional barbecue fare and a wide range of foods with Southern and Asian influences. An outline of what’s present in the Fletcher Barbecue Chop House menu is as follows:
Starters
If you’re looking for a taste explosion, go as far as Fletcher’s appetizers. Their appetizer menu features a range of creative takes on traditional BBQ dishes, drawing inspiration from tastes all across the globe. You can select between brisket, pulled pork, or chicken with the BBQ Nachos, a compelling blend of house-fried tortilla chips, queso, jalapeños, pit beans, pico de gallo, and deliciousness. Out of all the dishes, this one sticks out. It is recommended that you share this substantial meal.
Indulge in savory house specialties with the BBQ Sampler, which includes ribs, wings, pulled pork, brisket, jalapeños, and homemade pickles. It is a perfect alternative for those seeking variety. If you’re looking for a dish with a little fire, try the Spicy Shrimp Hushpuppies. Snackers will like the crunch and taste of these prawns. Cornmeal, scallions, and a touch of mild smoke coat them, and a spicy chipotle aioli rounds off the dish. Some of Fletcher’s innovative cooking is Szechuan Glazed Burnt Ends and Pork Belly Bao, which take traditional BBQ elements and update them with surprising Asian tastes.
Salads
The salads at Fletcher’s prove that they’re not only a grill and smoker joint. The colorful and nutritious Beet & Feta Salad includes golden and red beets, farro pearls, fennel, feta cheese, pepitas, and orange segments. A vinaigrette made of apple cider is used to prepare it. A breath of fresh air among the smoky BBQ smells.
The Chopped Cobb Salad is perfect for those who want a more varied salad. It has many different components, like charred corn, avocado, heirloom tomatoes, blue cheese, cucumber, and bacon, that have been smoked at home. Chicken, brisket, or shrimp may be added for protein. Salad ingredients, including pita, chicken grilled with lemon, mixed greens, tomatoes, red onion, and feta, give it a Mediterranean flavor. Yogurt with cucumbers makes the dressing.
Barbecue

You can thank Fletcher’s BBQ for their meteoric rise to fame, and it’s easy to see why. With its deep, smoky taste, Prime Brisket is unrivaled by anything else for BBQ lovers. Pound quantities are also available, along with lean and moist variations. This mouth-watering main course highlights Fletcher’s exceptional grilling abilities.
Every trip is complete with sampling the Spare Ribs, available in half and full racks. Their house-made BBQ sauce goes well with the delicious, fall-off-the-bone ribs that are expertly smoked. Anyone looking for a little variety in their BBQ platter will get what they’re craving with the selection of pulled pork, chicken, hot links, pickles, cornbread, pit-smoked beans, and coleslaw. This comprehensive course shows everything that Fletcher’s has to offer.
Sandwiches

After a hearty lunch, indulge in a sandwich from Fletcher’s BBQ. Diced BBQ beef brisket, sautéed onions, and house-made cheese sauce are ground on a long grinder to make the Brisket Cheesesteak, a compelling twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak.
Customer favorites include pulled pork sandwiches cooked with barbecue, coleslaw, Carolina vinegar BBQ sauce, potato rolls, and pulled pork. Despite its awkwardness, it is a classic that will always stay in style.
Spicy Hot Chicken Sandwiches are an eye-catching treat. A potato bun is topped with a mixture of spicy honey mustard and aioli, and there’s buttermilk-marinated, crispy chicken, fresh dill, pickles, and lettuce. The taste profile is bold and distinct.
Dining Experience
The laid-back sophistication and delicious cuisine make Fletcher’s a hit with lunchtime regulars and foodies. The menu’s eclecticism is complemented by the marble and brass tables embellished with paper towel rolls, giving off a whimsical charm.
The service is as important as the food at Fletcher’s. The staff’s contagious enthusiasm elevates the environment, and the service is unparalleled. By recommending the perfect pairings of food and drink, they ensure that every client leaves satisfied.
